This kit adds height, bulk, and weaponry to this bog 'bot. The new mid-section for the sword gives it a better scale for the giant's size, and can now be stored on his back due to an extra peg.
The head is easy to pop on after removing the original Menasor head, though as it's on an open ball joint as opposed to the standard closed one it does tend to pop off easily. The chest piece attaches easily enough by swapping out Menasor's crotch plate, and then forms a hefty backpack for Motormaster.
It's a little tricky at first when converting it for Menasor's use, it's not a bad idea to transform it before the big guy's shoulders. It pulls together the legs neatly, but also locks them into odd positions-he'll either being standing straight or with his legs in a wide "A" stance.
On the back of this decorative plate is a hole where the sword plugs in. The whole kit isn't bad, but you won't be able to display him in the Hasbro default pose. Until I knew this was coming out I had no intention of buying the Stunticons or the Optumus combiners.
I literally could not look at them all done up without laughing my tail off. This product gives you a decent looking Menasor, though you lose a hair of posability in the legs. Add the purple hands from the other kit and it becomes perfect.
This set is perfect for those who want the Combiner Wars Menasor to feel more like the G1 version. I personally like the head a lot more than the stock one. Everything fits tightly and looks awesome when displayed.
Combiner wars motormaster fell short for me. PC is the upgraded thighs and arms for Grimlock plus the sword s. PC is more specific to Volcanicus, especially the Grimlock extension pieces, so I don't think you'd be able to use that on anything else really.
Fakebuster has some excellent G1 sword and gun options on Shapeways, and an amazing looking combiner sword set! Ariel's Customs by fakebusker83 — Shapeways Shops. Also, rumor has it that Nonnef is working on a set of both as well for those who don't like Shapeways 3-D printed materials.

I like my Dinobots to have their G1 weapons and also be well armed. Has anyone seen an update on release for any of the parts? Upgrade parts still April? To be honest ID just get the replacement Dino legs and Thighs cause the look so good but Ill probably have to get it all.

Given how close the engineering is to CW's I bet Nonnef's ratchets will work in some of the voyagers, sans Grimlock as he is getting whole new thighs which would include new ratchets by default.

The more I mess with the combined mode the more I wish Perfect Effect would bump the price up on 23 and add new hip ratchets unless that's what they mean by "gear joint".
